Questions before starting a project?
Here is what to expect when working with CodeCommit Solutions. Final scope, cost and delivery commitments are always confirmed in writing for each project.
Before we begin
What information do you need to understand my project?
Start with the business goal, intended users, important features, examples you like, target timeline and an approximate budget range. A complete technical specification is not required—we can help organise the requirement during discovery.
Do you work with startups and small businesses?
Yes. We can shape the first phase around the most valuable outcome rather than trying to build every possible feature at once.
Can you improve an existing website or software product?
Yes, after reviewing the current technology, access, code quality, design and business goals. We will recommend improvement, partial rebuilding or replacement based on that assessment.
How project costs work
How much does a website, application or custom system cost?
Cost depends on scope, number of pages or modules, user roles, integrations, content readiness, design complexity and delivery expectations. We provide an INR quotation after understanding the requirement.
Do you require an advance payment?
Projects normally begin with an agreed advance or first milestone payment. The exact amount and remaining payment stages are stated in the written proposal.
Are third-party costs included?
Hosting, domain registration, paid plugins, external APIs, messaging services, app-store fees, advertising and other third-party charges are identified separately unless the proposal explicitly includes them.
Planning and delivery
How long will my project take?
A focused company website may take approximately three to six weeks. Software and mobile applications usually require longer and are planned in phases. The confirmed schedule depends on scope, feedback, content and integrations.
How will I see progress?
Work is organised into agreed milestones such as discovery, structure, design, development, testing and launch. Reviews are scheduled at meaningful decision points rather than waiting until the entire project is finished.
What can delay delivery?
Common causes include late content, delayed approvals, new requirements, unavailable third-party access and dependencies outside our control. We communicate the impact before adjusting a schedule.
Feedback and scope
How many revisions are included?
The proposal defines the review stages and included revisions. Feedback should be consolidated and provided during the relevant stage to keep the project efficient.
What happens if I need additional features?
We assess the effect on effort, cost and schedule. Small adjustments may fit within the current scope; larger additions are handled through a written change request or later phase.
Your product and files
Will I own the completed website or software?
Ownership and licensing are defined in the project agreement. Typically, approved final custom deliverables transfer after full payment, while third-party software, fonts, libraries and services remain subject to their original licences.
Will I receive source files and administrative access?
Access and handover items are listed in the proposal. Depending on the project, these may include source code, design exports, content access, deployment details and administrator credentials.
Do you keep my business information confidential?
We treat non-public project information responsibly and can agree appropriate confidentiality terms. Sensitive credentials should be shared through secure methods rather than ordinary messages.
Going live
Can you arrange hosting and domain configuration?
Yes. We can recommend or configure suitable hosting and connect an existing domain. Hosting ownership, renewal responsibility and recurring fees will be documented clearly.
Will the website work on mobile devices?
Responsive behavior is included in modern website work and tested across representative screen sizes. Exact browser and device coverage can be agreed for specialised applications.
Do you help with SEO?
Website projects include sensible technical foundations such as page structure, metadata, performance considerations and mobile usability. Ongoing keyword strategy, content and search growth are separate SEO services.
After launch
What happens after the project launches?
We can provide a defined post-launch observation period and optional ongoing maintenance. Coverage, response expectations and included work are stated in the selected support plan.
Can you provide monthly maintenance?
Yes. Monthly support can cover routine updates, fixes, content changes, monitoring and prioritised improvements according to an agreed allowance.
How do I request support?
Contact us through the agreed project channel, email or WhatsApp. For ongoing clients, the support arrangement will define how requests are prioritised and when emergency coverage is available.
